1st Elmo DiBiagio Young Engineers’ Paper Competition

Finalists, judges and sponsors (Norwegian Geotechnical Institute) for the 1st Elmo DiBiagio Young Engineers’ Award

At the 11th International Symposium on Field Monitoring in Geomechanics held in London in 2022 the Young Engineers’ Paper Competition was named in honour of Elmo DiBiagio.

Entrants were asked to prepare a one-page case history in the format proposed by Elmo and to present their work at the Symposium. A judging panel made up of Dr W. Allen Marr, Dr Giorgio Pezzetti and Professor Jamie Standing were on hand to decide on the winner and runner-up.
